rain during the night and a heavy downpour early this morning. Still windy so
the rain showers are moving over quickly.
Drove
Erica and Terry to Daniel and Jon’s houses to say goodbye and check out their
homes. Jon and Jess were a bit quiet this morning after their big night. Had a
cuppa while Jon showed Erica and Terry around his renovations. Daniel came over
and checked out Erica’s computer and found out she had a virus replicating her
old anti-virus software. He got rid of it. Went over to Daniel’s house where he
is laying timber flooring and getting rid of the old carpet. Fran was at work.
I tried out his virtual reality game which Fran gave him. It was great fun. It
was a ‘beat’ game and you had to swipe boxes as they whizzed past in beat with
the song – Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody, so I got a good work out.
Picked
up Mum and Dad as we were using Greg’s Tarago still – he got a lift home with
Tim last night after partying on with Brian. Headed over to Suzanne’s for
lunch. Kayleigh and her girls, Isabelle and Lucy, were there too so we had a
great time especially watching busy bee Lucy – such a cutie. Isabelle is a
gorgeous girl too and nearly 4 so she was very ‘grown-up’.
More
misty showers coming across. Dropped the others home for a rest then Steve and
I went around to Kaylene and Rick’s for a cuppa with them and Dawn. Emma had
just arrived home from Europe – had a great time but learned travelling with
someone else can have its drawbacks. More rain came past then a beautiful
rainbow appeared over Brinsmead.
Home
for dinner with Mum and Dad then around to Brian for a final cuppa with David
and Amanda. Brian had a big sleep in after his party and was suffering from a
heavy head!! It was great to be able to catch up with everyone again.
