Watched
the other 4x4 dvd while we had breakfast. This one was travelling the Simpson
Desert from the north down to Poepell Corner.
Followed
Steve down to Brian’s to drop off the work ute that we have been using.
Arranged to have dinner together tomorrow night when David and Amanda arrive.
Collected
Mum and Erica and went via Jon’s to show them his latest renovation – a putting
green beside his deck. Cute.
Had
fun playing the pokies for the morning with free cappuccinos and fresh fruit
salad. They look after us well at the Balaclava Hotel. Unfortunately we didn’t
have any great wins but we had a good time.
Joined
Val for lunch again in the café of the Aged Care Facility. Remembered my camera
this time.
Gave
Val a big hug as we left. Hopefully she will go back to her home soon.
Dropped
Mum and Erica home then I went off to get the meat for the trip.
Cooked
up Spicy Chilli Carne for Mum, Dad and I and the not so hot one for Steve. They
settled in to watch TV while I continued typing. Trying to get up-to-date
before we head off.
