Clear
sky and cool breeze though the one open window. Still close up at night as it
gets quite cool. 7.30am 20 degrees which is nice.
Into
town to meet up with Mark and Heidi who were doing the 1000km drive as they
just got a new big motor in their Nissan. They will get it serviced on Friday
then drive back again and head up to Leonora so Steve might follow them up
there after I have left.
Picked
up our caravan brakes from the post office then loaded up with more meat etc so
Steve can survive for the next month!! Filled up the truck and all our buckets
with water so we don’t have to bring the van back in to Kal to top up. I had my
vacuum sealed bags for the meat so we could get it in the freezer straight away
and throw out all the smelly packaging.
Back
to camp in the afternoon then the job of packing it all away.
Leftover
stew for dinner by the fire. So nice to be able to enjoy chatting around the
fire, especially once the flies go to bed!! Clouds started coming over around
8pm as we headed in for a shower and some TV.
