13 degree min, clear sky. Up to 17 degrees by the time we got up. Unfortunately we will only have 2 days of warmer weather then back to 5-8 degree min and 17-19 max for the next week. What happened to Spring.
Packed up and headed out to Lake Douglas so we can do the washing - we have lots to do. At least the sky is clear though the wind has picked up.
Set up and got the machine working. The wind has gotten stronger so it shouldn’t take long for everything to dry.
Steve did a check over of the truck and found a sway bar had broken. Not sure when that happened. Ordered a new one - should be here in a week.
After lunch the washing was all dry. After giving the camper a clean I remade the beds and packed everything away.
The wind has brought clouds over now so glad we got everything clean and dry. The wind is rocking the camper even with us facing into the wind.
Rang Kev as he text to say he was coming up with a mate for the Red Dust Revival racing then to go detecting with Steve.
Rang Terry since we missed chatting with him on Father’s Day. He was at a van club rally in Howard - so glad he is out having fun.
Went for a walk up the hill then onto the dam wall for a photo of Lake Douglas - never walked across here before. Lots of people enjoying the day - plenty of area for them to ride their motorbikes etc and there are a couple of kids paddling on boards too.
Walked down to the lake and watched a Spoonbill hard at work trying to get a feed. He managed to get a few bits too.
Lots of lovely blooms on the wattles everywhere.
Back to the camper for drinks and a game of cards.
Jon rang from his work at dinner time for a chat. A few spots of rain fell on the roof.
