12.1 degrees, clear sky with a cloud band in the south-west on the horizon.
Sent Tom a happy birthday message. They had a nice time in Kalbarri on their way to Exmouth.
We went wandering. I got 11 lead shot pellets for 4 grams - wish they were gold. Steve scored with a lovely nugget which he marked with a huge smiley face.
After a cuppa he took us to where he found his nugget as he thinks there might be another one near it. I went over it and just heard it with the 6000 as it was deeper. Margaret heard it well with her 4500 and as a thank-you to them for everything we let them dig it out. It was a lovely nugget so they were very happy with that. Bob put another big smiley face on the ground too.
We then worked the area and couldn’t find any more. Just the lucky two bits in the one spot.
Another warmer day, 28 degrees in camper at lunch time, the breeze is still cool when you are in the shade though.
I did our baking and Steve went wandering again. No gold but he did find a silver plated teaspoon with WP marking on the handle. I looked it up - William Page (1875-1890) so a nice little treasure to keep.
Mal rang to touch base again while we had our drinks around the fire again.
